Learning Outcomes At the end of this course, students should be able to: [1] Identify the problem statement, objectives and scope of project. [2] Choose appropriate methodology to solve complex engineering problem based on relevant literature review. [3] Demonstrate ethical principles, responsibilities and norms of engineering practice. [4] Demonstrate knowledge and principles of finance and project management. [5] Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities and write effective reports. Synopsis This course refers to individual project in student’s area of specialization under the guidance of a supervisor. The work includes designing, evaluating, and analyzing components, assemblies, and systems. Develop products/manufacturing techniques demonstrating state-of-the-art technology. A written proposal, one or more written progress reports, and final written report are required. An oral presentation is required upon completion of the course.
