1.	What is FKP?
	FKP is an abbreviation for Fakulti Kejuruteraan Pembuatan or in English, Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering. The faculty was established on the 22nd of June 2001.

2.	Where is the campus of FKP?
	FKP operates in UTeM’s Main Campus which is located in the green surroundings of Durian Tunggal, approximately 3 minutes from the Ayer Keroh Toll. The 766 acre Main Campus is completed with the state-of-the art facilities and infrastructure. FKP buildings are located opposite the UTeM’s Perpustakaan Laman Hikmah.

3.	What is the advantages studying in FKP?
	FKP is a one of the leaders in the teaching and learning approach for technical education especially in the field of manufacturing engineering, which makes it different from the other universities. Students will be exposed and experienced latest technology applied in the field of manufacturing engineering.

4.	What types of academic programmes are offered at FKP?
	FKP offers academic programmes at diploma, bachelor, master and PHD levels specializing in manufacturing engineering. The postgraduate programmes are available with part- and full-time study options. More Detail

5.	How many departments are there at FKP UTeM ?
	There are two (2) departments at FKP. They comprise of Department of Manufacturing Engineering and Department of Diploma Studies

6.	What facilities are provided?
	FKP aims to have a campus conducive to learning and living. Among the facilities provided are modern and fully-equipped laboratories, high-technology machineries, conducive lecture rooms, spacious seminar hall, dedicated lecture room for collaborative learning and students’ room. The library is also within walking distance from the faculty. Other facilities in the university include cafeterias, sport complex, mosque, hostels, shuttle service, etc. All the facilities provided are not only in relation to student capacity and needs but also teaching and learning requirements.
